Speak Now Taylor’s Version Album, Taylor Revives "Speak Now" With Newfound Maturity

Thirteen years after its debut, "Speak Now" re-enters the music scene with Taylor Swift's distinctively mature voice on Speak Now (Taylor's Version) - showing how far she's come as an artist and as a person.

Even the FBI is jumping on the bandwagon

The FBI Washington Field Office joined in the excitement around Taylor Swift's re-released "Speak Now" album by posting a creative Tweet. They created a mock album cover for "Speak Now (FBI's Version)" featuring 9 song titles that correspond to the types of criminal activity the FBI is looking for information on: terrorism, cybercrimes, espionage, civil rights violations, public corruption, weapons of mass destruction, organized crime, violent crime and white-collar crime.

The Tweet references the actual song titles "Better Than Revenge," "Speak Now," and the album name by stating "Justice is better than revenge." It encourages people who see potential federal crimes to contact the FBI, saying "While you may not be Superman, you can help the #FBI protect the country. If you have information about a federal crime, speak now. Call 1-800-225-5324 or submit a tip at http://tips.fbi.gov ↗ ." The Tweet was posted on July 10th, a few days after Taylor Swift's re-released "Speak Now" album dropped on July 7th.

The creative Tweet shows how the FBI Washington Field Office tried to capitalize on the excitement around Taylor Swift's new album by using a similar concept - a mock album cover - to raise awareness about reporting federal crimes and encourage tips from the public.

Naya Rivera of "Glee" Presumed Drowned In Lake Piru, Her 4-Year-Old Son Found Alone In their Boat

Sad news for Glee fans! Authorities are still searching for 33-year-old “Glee” actress Naya Rivera after she went missing Wednesday afternoon on a lake in the Los Padres National Forest in Ventura County.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said that the actress along with her son rented a pontoon boat at about 1 p.m. they are going to Lake Piru which is about 50 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. After a couple of hours another boater found her son alone sleeping in the boat. The boater notified officials, who immediately began a search for Rivera with the use of helicopters, drones and dive teams. The child was said to be unharmed and told investigators that he and his mother were swimming, but his mother never got back into the boat. Authorities were working to reunite the child with family members Wednesday evening. The search for Rivera would continue at daybreak Thursday, the sheriff’s office reported.

Last Tuesday, she shared a photo of she and her son with the caption, “just the two of us,” on Twitter.

RIP Country singer Cady Groves Died at the Age of 30

Country singer Cady Groves who is known for the songs  "This Little Girl", “Oil and Water," "Oh Darlin'", "Forget You", and "Love Actually" died last Saturday at age 30.

Cody Groves her brother confirmed in a Tweet about the sad news with a photo of both of them, with a message "@cadygroves has left this world.  and Casey."  Kelly Groves died at 28 in 2013 after struggles with prescription drug addiction following a serious car accident, about 7 years after older brother Casey Groves also died at 28 from prescription drug abuse.

A Tribute to Prince

Prince Rogers Nelson is one of the greatest musician of all-time, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2004 and he also got the Icon Award at the 2013 Billboard Awards. For fans like me we mourn Prince's death 4 years ago at age 57(April 21, 2016). He's an artist and his masterpiece is Purple Rain (1984) which was also the soundtrack to his hugely successful film acting debut of the same name which also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song Score.

Las Vegas police department have confirmed that they are investigating an active shooter situation at Mandalay Bay, the Metropolitan Police Department said on Twitter. They have warn the public to avoid the area.

Police scanner traffic reported multiple casualties from the incident and possibly two shooters with automatic weapons. There were reports that at least 2 people are dead and 24 others injured and are now in hospital because of the shooting incident Sunday night at the Mandalay Bay hotel and resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the hospital is still evaluating the condition of “many patients” with gunshot wounds in the wake of the shooting.

People who were at the concert at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival performance reported a burst of weapons fire as the concert was underway. The shots appeared to be coming from an upper floor of the hotel, some witnesses said.

Video posted on social media showed a country artist mid-song at the open-air venue when bursts of automatic gunfire rang out in rapid succession. The shooting went on for about 10 seconds before the music stopped. The crowd appeared slow to move at first, then concertgoers began running and screaming.

“Get down, stay down,” a woman shouted moments later. “Let’s go,” another voice said. Another wave of gunshots followed soon after.

Cardi B Bumped Taylor Swift Off the No. 1 Billboard's Hot 100 chart

Female Rapper Cardi B is the first female rapper to take the number one spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart since Lauryn Hill's “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998. According to Billboard magazine “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” by rapper Cardi B will bump Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” off the top of the chart.

Cardi B is the first Latina to top the chart since Shakira in 2006 with "Hips Don't Lie." Cardi B is a Dominican and Trinidadian native of the Bronx, New York. “Bodak Yellow” is one of the year’s most streamed songs.

Taylor Swift Sued For the Song "Shake it Off" Over Ripped Off Lyrics

Taylor Swift was recently sued for the song "Shake it Off" by songwriters who claim she ripped off the material from 2001 3LW single Playas Gon' Play. Songwriters Sean Hall and Nathan Butler said that “Look What You Made Me Do” singer lifted as much as 20% of their song Playas Gon' Play for her 2014 hit Shake it Off. Hall and Butler are both veterans in the music industry so they know what they are doing. Hall previously worked with Justin Bieber and Pink, while Butler has done work for the Backstreet Boys and Victoria Beckham.

Playas Gon' Play, which was released in May of 2001, hit 81 on Billboard's Hot 100 and was subsequently honored this summer by the music media stalwart as the 89th best on the list of the 100 Greatest Girl Group Songs of All Time.

The publication called the effort from 3LW -- which consisted of Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Naturi Naughton 'an airtight production with a knocking beat that fizzes delectably but unpredictably.'

Lyrics to Playas Gon' Play, which were writen by Hall and Butler, included: "Playas, they gonna play/ And haters, they gonna hate/ Ballers, they gonna ball/ Shot callers, they gonna call."

That comes in contrast to Swift's 2014 song, which included in the chorus, "Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play/ And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate / Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake I shake it off, I shake it off."

Taylor Swift's posted an incredibly creepy 10 second clip of what looked like a snake's tail on her social media. So is it her sign that she'll be returning to the music world? This also followed last week's blackout of her Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and her personal website on the third anniversary of "Shake It Off's" release, prompting plenty of speculation that a follow-up to 2014's 1989 is now imminent. Swift’s next album is greatly anticipated because she hasn’t released any music since “1989” in October 2014; it became one of the few albums this decade to sell 1 million copies in its first week. Swift, who typically is on an every-two-years album cycle, is one of the only artists on the planet who still has the power to rack up those kind of sales.

The pop star has yet to confirm anything herself, but in terms of Swifty-created theories and source intel, the writing might very well be on the wall.

Why a snake? Well, she's been called a snake many times specially last summer, after Kim Kardashian posted a phone call between Swift and Kanye West, which appeared to show that Swift did, in fact, know that West was going to mention her in his controversial song “Famous.” Well, Swift acted that she was caught off guard.
