Mary, Did You Know? - Pentatonix

Christmas is just around the corner so I'll be posting a lot of Christmas songs. One of my favorite Christmas song is Mary, "Did You Know?" by Pentatonix. The song was excellent and it was done just right, the melody is soft in the ears. I love listening to this song it reminds me of Christmas.

Mary, Did You Know? was written by gospel singer/comedian Mark Lowry in 1985, is from their holiday album, That’s Christmas to Me. Pentatonix a cappella band is composed of five vocalist: Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola.

Lyrics:

"Mary, Did You Know?"

Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.

Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.

Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know...

The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb.

Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding is the great I am.

Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know...

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry Hates Each other

Taylor Swift, Katy Perry Hates Each other, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry beef, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry fight

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry feud is because of their ex-boyfriend John Mayer. Taylor Swift may have denied that it is because of John Mayer but it was clearly the case. John Mayer dumped Taylor back in 2010 citing that she was too clingy. Taylor then composed a song titled “Dear John” with a message in the lyrics “Don’t you think 19’s too young to be played by/Your dark twisted games.” Then in 2012 Katy Perry dated John Mayer, it was also the time when Perry started dissing Taylor.

Swift interview with Rolling Stone where she told a series of dispute with an unamed pop star, she didn't mention her name but it was clear that she was referring to Katy Perry.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Taylor said. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'" In 2013, the unamed pop star crossed the line, "She did something so horrible," Swift says. "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

Britney Spears Leaked Singing Alien Without Auto-Tune

Britney Spears - Alien NO AUTOTUNE by dioguinhoblog

Britney Spears is known for her singing prowess but this time upon hearing the leaked audio of Britney singing her song "Alien" from her latest album "Britney Jean" her 8th. The leaked audio recording has gone viral and she doesn't sound like a professional singer, she sound like a screaming old lady. It was not good to the ears.

Producer of the song, William Orbit, defended the Britney by saying that it was not official. It was just a warm-up vocal.

Here is the official explanation of William Orbit on his Facebook page:

"Dearest Music Lovers, I have heard that Britney vocal link that everybody’s been discussing. It has been impossible not to as there have been many comments directing my attention to it. [I won’t re-posting it here]. I'd like to affirm that ANY singer when first at the mic at the start of a long session can make a multitude of vocalisations in order to get warmed up.

Warming up is essential if you’re a pro, as it is with a runner doing stretches, and it takes a while to do properly. I’ve heard all manner of sounds emitted during warmups. The point is that it is not supposed to be shared with millions of listeners.

A generous singer will put something down the mic to help the engineer get their systems warmed up and at the right level, maybe whilst having a cup of herb tea and checking through lyrics before the session really kicks off. It’s not expected to be a ‘take’.

I think that 99% of you reading this will totally understand.

Whomever put this on the internet must have done so in a spirit of unkindness, but it can in no way detract from the fact that Britney is and always will be beyond Stellar! She is magnificent! And that’s that."

As for me, I'm not buying it. Most of the singers today like Beyonce, Nicki Minaj etc are depending too much on technology like auto-tune to mask their imperfection. What happened to real singers like Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin?

Here is the song with Auto-Tune:

Miley Cyrus O2, London

Miley Cyrus O2, London

Miley Cyrus performs at the O2 Arena in central London. Most of her fans are teenagers, but her acts on stage was not for teens. She even suggested her fans to get high and use  weed and booze instead of sodas and sweets. She even told her fans to kiss each other which is weird. She was seen on stage humping the leg of a giant inflatable doll of her dead dog, Floyd which I think is sick. In my opinion, the only songs that she sang well were Adore You and Wrecking Ball. Overall, parents don't let your kids go to a Miley concert.
