Ke$ha Cyrus Song Penned for Shocking $1.63 Price Tag

A Ke$ha Cyrus song was penned for a shocking $1.63 price tag. Ke$ha authored the 2009 Miley Cyrus the Time of our Lives. But this weekend, Ke$ha tells news that was not even paid two dollars for the song.

Ke$ha in a news interview released this weekend by Seventeen Magazine admits to authoring a lot of hit songs for other artists before going solo. But sometimes, those gigs were emotionally rewarding, yet financially unrewarding.

Ke$ha tells Seventeen Magazine that she loved working for Miley Cyrus. But she is unsure who decided her pay scale. But she tell news magazine that, for the Cyrus song, “It was like $1.63 cents for a song I wrote – I think for Miley Cyrus.” She admits the check was a financial embarrassment. “It was an embarrassingly tiny amount.”

Yet she modestly admits that she was happy for the gig. “But I never cashed it and it’s on a bulletin board in my house.” She also tells news that writing for Cyrus was among her favorite early work. Ke$ha who wrote for Britney Spears and the Veronicas before delivering her own solo hit Tik Tok admits to news that Cyrus was one of her favorite clients. She said the songs were often anthem in nature, devised for a younger demographic.
